All you need to know about the amazing Dons Draw

Operating since 2004, the volunteer run Dons Draw has paid out an incredible £250,000 in prizes and has raised over £700,000 for the club.

Now with a fresh look, and some new great prizes to be won, proceeds from the draw will help to realise our ambition of having the most productive football academy in South London, producing the stars of AFC Wimbledon’s future.

“The Dons Draw has provided vital funds for the club over most of our history”, explained Matthew Breach, Chairman of the Dons Trust.

“Initially targeted at the ground improvements necessary to be able to reclaim our place in the Football League, more recently the funds raised have been allocated to the Academy and have contributed to their successes leading to the superb FA Youth Cup run this season and the increasing presence of home grown talent in our first team squad.”

The format of the draw has changed slightly, with prizes now guaranteed to be won each week. The current prize fund is over £2,000 and this consists of 6 cash prizes that can be won throughout each month – £1,000, £500, £250 and three £100s. You can also win some great non-cash prizes, such as:

• Match day hospitality

• End of Season Celebration tickets

• Signed memorabilia from the club shop

• A day shadowing the club media team

• Training ground experience

Each lottery ticket costs just £2 and you can buy from just one ticket if you so wish. Most supporters commit to £10 per month or more and there is no maximum number of tickets that can be purchased. We take payment via Direct Debit each month in order to keep admin and running costs to a minimum.

Winners will be notified automatically if they have won a prize. We will also announce winners on the pitch at half-time, on the official club website, in the match day programme, and on the club Facebook and Twitter pages.

In what is an exciting time for the Academy, and with new weekly prizes to be won, we hope to get as many new sign-ups to the draw as possible today. For those who are already signed up, the more entrants, the higher the prize fund will be, so please encourage friends and family to get involved.
